Cars

Gday Mates,

Today i wanted to share my thoughts on cars with you! Even though america does have some great cars like the Corvette, Camaro, F-trucks and the viper.
They just don't compare to the massive muscle cars that come from down under.

The two main Aussie car dealers are Ford and Holden but today i am going to focus on the elite side of these two companie.

Holden has HSV which stands for Holden Special Vehicle and one of their best cars is the GTS
Now doesn't that look great?

This 325KW beast could blow smoke in front of the best of Americas muscle cars, but the challenger down under and my personal favourite is the supercharged FPV GT-P.

So next time your sitting in your muscle car just think that the little continent at the bottom of the world has some series engines that can really play with the big boys!!!!

Cya Later Mates.

Snack Time

G'day mates,
I've been thinking and lately I have been walking around my apartment trying to find snacks I like, I have been eating things like Cheetos, Sprees, Animal crackers and the occasional Twinky.

I got to thinking wow I really wish I had some of the Aussie food I used to snack on as a kid but I have no way of getting these items so I thought I would share with everyone the foods I love to snack on when I go back to the land down under.

First of all my all time favorite food to eat at anytime in Australia is "Mrs Mac's" meat pies. They are kind of like chicken pot pies if you substitute the chicken and vegetable for the most amazing meat and gravy in the world!

As you can see from the picture above they are 100% Australia and 100% Amazing, my favorite is the beef, cheese and bacon pie with tomato sauce(ketchup) and at only a couple bucks a pie they are great value for money.

When I'm sitting in Australia watching the footy or just hanging out my favorite chips to snack on are "Twisties" they are the same shape as Cheetos but taste very similar to Ramon Noodles.

The picture above is of the cheese flavored, I'm not the biggest fan of cheese but give me a packet of Chicken Twisties and they will be gone at record speed!

Next is probably the most Australian thing on the market, the well known "Vegemite" this salty black tar-like spread never goes over well with the Americans who I get to taste it however if your a true Aussie you would have been eating this since the day you where born and will love it more than anything in the world.

I'll let you all think about how much you want to eat all this great stuff and until next time.

"Take it easy".

Intro

G'day everyone and welcome to wtf-mate, I have been away from home for 8 months (In USA) so far this year and I have started to feel a little home sick.

I figured I would start a blog and share with everyone what exactly it is I love about Australia and the differences in Australia and America.

So I hope you enjoy what you read and have fun learning about the differences in the countries I live in.
